Manumission Caleb and others from Abner Dill Admin 1804

Know all men by these presents that I Abner Dill of the County of Kent and State of Delaware administrator of the Goods and chattels rights and credits of William Adams late of the County and State aforesaid, esquire deceased, for divers good causes and considerations one thereunto moving have emancipated liberated and freed and by these presents do emancipate liberate and free the four following negro men (to wit, Caleb aged about twenty three years, Jonathan aged about twenty one years, David aged about nineteen years, and Samuel aged about seventeen years after the full term and time  of seven years commencing at the twenty fifth day of december last past and ending on the twenty fifth day of december, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten. To have, hold, possess, and enjoy their perfect and compete liberty and freedom to all intents & purposes after the expiration of the said term of seven years without let hindrance or molestation from any person or persons claiming or to claim from, by, through or under me my heirs executors, administrators or assigns or any of them. In ^witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this seventh day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four. Abner Dill {seal}
