Know all Men by these Presents: That I William Killen of the county of Kent in the State [of] Delaware Esqr, for diverse good causes and Considerations me hereunto more Especially moveing have Manumitted liberated and absolutely set free and by these Presents do manumit liberate and absolutely set free, my certain Negroe female Slave, named Bina, or Sabina now of the age of Twenty six years and ten Months, and her Infant male and only Child, named Henry of the age of six months, or there about, both born in a state of Slavery, or servitude in my own Family, And I the said William Killen do for Myself my Executors administrators and Assigns, and every of them release acquit exonerate and forever discharge, the said Negroe woman and her infant male Child, of from in or to all right property claim or demands, of in or to their persons or services forever hereafter which myself now have, or that my executors administrators or assigns may Claim, pretend or set up thereunto In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Sixteenth day of November in the [ye]ar of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and One. Kent County Ss. On the day of the Date of the above Instrument of writing, before Me John Lowber Esqr. one of the Justices of the Peace of the said County; came the above named William Killen Esqr and Acknowledged the said Instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the form and Effect and the true intent and meaning thereof.
