Manumission Negro Zadock & others from Manlove Hayes

To all persons to whome there presents shall come Know ue that I Manlove Hayes have manumitted and freed and by these presents do manumitted and free the following named negros at the several times and ages hearing after mentioned to wit. Zadock aged twenty three at this time to be free on the twenty fifth of November Eighteen hundred and forteen. John aged twenty two to be free the twenty fifth November Eighteen hundred and forteen. George aged twenty to be free on the first day of November Eighteen hundred and sixteen. Easter aged twenty three to be free on the first day of November Eighteen hundred and sixteen. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this tenth day of January Eighteen hundred and ten. 1810. Manlove Hayes {seal}

Signed sealed delivered In the presents of Daniel Walker, William Conlyn his mark

State of Delaware Kent County Ss. } I do certify that on the 13th of January I the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and ten before me one of the Justices of the peace for said County free and personly appeared Manlove Hayes and acknowledged the within manumition to be his act and for the use and purposes therein mentioned.
