Manumission Sarah Neeley to Negro Stephen
Know all men by these presents that I Sarah Neely of Kent County in the State of Delaware for divers good causes and considerations me thereto moving have manumitted and set free and by these presents do manumite and set free from me my executors and administrators for ever my negro man Stephen when he arrives to the age of thirty four years which will be on the twenty ninth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two: and from and after that time to have and enjoy his freedom forever acquitted and discharge from me my executors and administrators. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this seventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten.
