Manumission Negro Rachel & others From Nathan Huff

Know all men by these presents that I Nathan Huff of the village of Milford Kent County and State of Delaware for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have and by these presents do Hereby manumit enfranchise and absolutely set free the following negroes, to wit: Negro Rachel aged about eleven years to be free and at her full and perfect liberty when she shall arive to the full age of twenty one years, Negro Isaac aged about nine years, to be free and at his full and perfect liberty when he shall arive to the full age of twenty five years._ and Negro Elizabeth (or Bet) aged about seven years to be free and at her full an perfect liberty when she shall arive to the full age of twenty one years_ The liberty and freedom of the aforesaid Negroes after they shall arive to the above described age I will warrant and defend from and against myselfe my heirs executors and administrators and all and every other person or persons Lawfully claiming or to claim by From or under me them or any of them by these presents, In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty second day of May Anno Domini one thousand Eight hundred and twelve 1812. State of Delaware Kent County } I do hereby certify that Nathan Huff the person who subscribed to the within manumission Of Negroes Rachel Isaac and Elizabeth (or Bet) personally appeared before me James Millechop one of the justices of the peace in and for the said County and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed agreeable to the true intent and meaning thereof in due form of Law This 22d May 1812.
