Manumission Negro Priscilla from Alexr. Graham & Wm. Condle

Whereas the undersigned Alexander Graham of Duck Creek Neck & hundred in the County of Kent and State of Delaware, Farmer, being the owner and possessor of slave mulatto Girl named Priscilla born on the fifteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety six in the family of him the said Alexander. and whereas the said Alexander Graham being about to remove from said State to the western country did on the twenty fifth day of February now last past sell and deliver said mulatto Girl Priscilla to William Condle of Little Creek Neck and hundred in the said County of Kent until she should arrive to the age of twenty eight years and no longer, and at the expiration thereof the said Priscilla to be then free; Now know ye that we the undersigned Alexander Graham and William Candle the more effectually to secure the freedom of the said Priscilla, and to under the same certain, do  by these presents manumit, set free and at liberty the said Priscilla, and she is hereby discharged from our service or the service of either of us or either of our Executors, administrators or assigns, when she shall arrive to the age of twenty eight years and not before. In Testimony whereof we have hereto set our hands and affixed our seals the twenty second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and six. 1806.
