Manumission Negro Major from Solomon Townsend

State of Delaware Kent County } To all whome it may concern, This may certify that I Solomon Townsend of the county and hundred aforesaid for divers good causes me thereunto moveing Do hereby Manumate and set free the following Negro Man name Major when he arives at the age of twenty five years old which will be the first Day of January Eighteen Hundred and thirteen after the Date of this Manumation Witness My Hand and Seal this twenty fifth Day of November Eighteen hundred and nine. 1809.
