Manumission Negro Kitty by John Clark

Know all men by these presents that I John Clarke of the County of Kent and State of Delaware for divers good causes and consideration em herein to moving Have and by these presents do here by Manumit enfranchise and absolutely set free my Negro Girl named Kitty to be free and at her full & perfect liberty, at the expiration of seventeen years from this day of the date hereof at the expiration of which term she will be about twenty eight years old the liberty and freedom of my said Negro Girl Kitty after the Expiration of the term aforesaid from all persons and persons whoomsoever I Bind my self my heirs Executors & Administrators to defend by these wurents Witness my hand and seal this 25, November 1813.
