State of Delaware Kent County} To all Persons to whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Know ye, that, for divers good causes & considerations me thereunto moving I William Collins do hereby declare free, manumit & enfranchise, from the day of the date hereof my negro Man named Jeremiah hereby declaring the said Jeremiah free, from myself my heirs Executors, Administrators & assigns forever Witness my hand & seal this tenth day of August Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and seven. State of Delaware Kent County} Be it Remembered that William Collins Of Duck Creek Hundred & County aforesaid came before me one of the Justices for said County, & acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his act and Deed & the Signatures & seal thereto annexed to be respectively his, Witness my Hand this tenth day.
