Manumission Negro Jane From Major McNatt
Know all men by these presents that I Major M Natt of Kent county Delaware State for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have manumated liberated and freed and by these presents do manumate Liberate and free the foloing Negro girl to wit Jane aged twelve years and nine Munts after the full time and turm of fifteen years and three Munts commencing at this day and ending on the twenty fifth day of September in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty to have hold poses Injoy her perfect and Compleat liberty and Freedom to all intents and purposes after the expiration of the said fifteen years and three Munts without let hindrince or mollistation from any person or persons claiming or to claim from by through or under me my heirs executors administrators or assigns or any of them In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five. 1805 Maj McNatt {seal}
