Manumission Negro Hester From Thomas Parker

Know all Men by these presents That I Thomas Parker of Murtherkill Hundred Kent County and State of Delaware (Farmer) for divers good causes and considerations do by these presents manumit, Liberate and Set free my black woman, named Hester, aged sixteen years and six months, or there about and do hereby further agree that the said Hester at the Expiration of Eleven years & six months from the date of these presents Shall be intitled to and enjoy all the right privileges and immunities which a free Negro or Molatto may or can have or enjoy by the Laws of this State, ___, In Testimony whereof I have hereinto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty ninth Day of October one thousand Eight hundred and twelve 1812.
