Know all men by these presents that we Myers Carson and John Miller administrators of Stephen Miller decd. For divours causes us thereinto moving, do hereby manumit and set free and at full liberty a certain negro boy named, Henry late the property of Stephen Miller aforesaid, reserving unto ourselves our heirs executors administrators and assigns, a service in, and title unto the labour of said boy Henry for the term of fifteen years and eight months from the day of the date hereof, Witness our hands and Seals at Dover the ninth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four, 1804.

State of Delaware Kent County Sst. } I do certify that Myres Carson and John Miller appeared before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for said county, and acknowledged the above manumission as their act and deed for the use and purpose therein mentioned, Given under my hand at Dover the ninth day of June 1804.
