Manumission Negro Eleanor Sipple & others From Caleb Sipple

Know all Men by these persons that I Caleb Sipple of Murderkill Hundred in Kent County and State of Delaware think it wrong and oppressive to hold Negroes in Abject Slavery have and by these do Manumate and set free my Negro woman Elenor Sipple now the wife of Daniel Hunn free Negro and her two children Sarah and Thomas to all intents and purposes to enjoy full liberty from the date of these presents as fully and in as ample a manner as though they had been free born and the freedom of the said Negroes I do hereby warrant from me my heirs executors admins and assigns and all and every other person or persons whets ever claiming by through or under me my heirs executors admns or assigns or either of them and will forever defend by these presents. State of Delaware Kent County Ss.} I hereby Certify that on the tenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eighth hundred and seven personally came Caleb Sipple before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for said county and did in my presence and before me the said Justice subscribe his name to the within Instrument of writing and acknowledged the same as his act and deed and deliver the same for the purposes therein mentioned.
