Manumission Negro Caleb Jenkins from Moses Ratledge
To all persons to whom these presents shall come greeting, Know ye that for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving moving I Moses Ratledge do hereby declare free manumit and Enfranchise Negro Caleb Jenkins hereby declaring the said Negro Caleb Jenkins free and discharged from and after the date hereof from all clam of service & Right of property whatsoever from me my heirs Executors administrators and assigns in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of May 1805.
